On February 14th, Energy Transition Norway and University of Stavanger hosted a breakfast workshop bringing together startups, SMEs, R&D managers, and researchers to explore the newest funding opportunities from the European Union’s research system in the fields of energy, climate, and mobility.
The workshop provided an in-depth look at upcoming EU funding programs, including the latest draft of Horizon Europe Work Programme 2025–2026 for Cluster 5, covering key energy topics such as CCUS, offshore wind, geothermal energy, energy storage, batteries, and wave power.
Additionally, participants were introduced to relevant calls from the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, with application deadlines in April 2025.
Feel free to get in touch if you plan to pursue any of these announcements, and we will assist you as best we can.
The session also included valuable insights from Innovation Norway’s Adviser, Edel Dirdal, who introduced the EU’s EIC Accelerator program, highlighting funding opportunities for innovative companies. Additionally, Innovayt’s Consultant, Cassandra Myhre, presented their advisory and proposal- writing services, designed to support applicants in securing EU funding.
The event fostered valuable discussions and engagement, with participants taking the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with speakers and peers. Following the presentations, attendees continued their conversations in breakout rooms, further exploring potential collaborations and funding strategies.
Energy Transition Norway would like to thank all speakers and participants for their contributions to a dynamic and insightful morning.
