On August 28th, during ONS, Flex2future AS and Øglænd System AS signed an important agreement related to the Flex2power project.

Øglænd System, which has been a key supporter of Energy Transition Norway's flagship projects for several years, has played a crucial role in designing solutions for the Flex2power concept.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Øglænd System will cover a significant portion of the technology qualification costs associated with testing the energy conversion device on its foundation.

- This agreement is incredibly valuable for Flex2future as we move closer to achieving proof of concept for the Flex2power project, we are very grateful for this partnership, said Knut Høiland Chairman of the Board.

Hermann Holzer, CEO of Øglænd System AS, expressed strong support for Flex2future, citing their belief in the floating offshore wind market, the Flex2power concept, and Flex2future's approach to bringing this technology to a global scale.

- We are confident that our multidisciplinary solutions will add significant value to the concept. The technical qualification will also aid in validating our advanced and unique engineering tools for dynamic loads, Holzer added.
