Margie Maria Gonzales joined our team on January 27th
Energy Transition Norway (ETN) is excited to welcome Margie Maria Gonzales as our new Project Coordinator.
Margie holds a Master’s degree in International Environmental Studies from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) and has worked extensively with social and environmental sustainability in both public and private sectors in Mexico and Norway.
In 2020, her interest in the energy industry and innovation for the energy transition took her to Stavanger. Her career path has since focused on market research, communication and administrative support for various R&D initiatives, including biofuel production, geothermal energy, CCUS, and artificial intelligence applications in the drilling industry.
With over six years of experience in project management, communication, and research, Margie is well-equipped to handle ETN’s growing innovation project portfolio. In her new role, she will be responsible for managing project progress and reporting, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and representing ETN externally.
- I am beyond excited to have found a position where my professional wish to support Norway’s efforts to lead the energy transition by using its O&G competencies is perfectly aligned to my employer’s goals and mission, says Margie.
Her interest in new technologies and cross-sector collaboration to accelerate the energy transition makes her a great fit for ETN’s dynamic environment.
She looks forward to growing within a team that values collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
We are very happy to have Margie on board and look forward to working together to drive forward key innovation initiatives and strengthen our network for a sustainable future.
Welcome to the ETN, Margie!
