Silvija Seres is a mathematician and technology investor. She has a background in algorithm research at Oxford, development of the search engine Alta Vista in Silicon Valley, strategic leadership at Fast Search and Transfer, and service development at Microsoft.
Seres currently serves as a board member for several large companies, including Ruter, Det Norske Veritas, and Norsk Rikstoto, and is an active investor in several technology businesses.
Tor Arnesen has 40 years of experience from Oil and Gas,- mostly form Shell where he worked in several corporate and business roles.
After 7 years at Shell's HQ in The Hague,-he returned to Norway in 2012 to become Managing director Shell Norway.He retired from Shell in 2017, and is now active as Chair for several energy related boards,- including Energy Transition Norway and ONS. Tor has been leading the H2 Conference program committee.
Kari Nessa Nordtun is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She has been mayor of Stavanger since October 2019. Nordtun is a trained lawyer from the University of Bergen. After completing her studies, she worked as a trainee lawyer and later as a lawyer for the law firm Sjødin, Meling & Co, and then for the law firm Elden DA. She was, among other things, a legal counsel for victims and relatives in the July 22 case.
She is currently on leave from her profession as a lawyer to engage in political work.
Andreas Bjelland Eriksen
Andreas Bjelland Eriksen (b. 1992) was appointed State Secretary at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy on 1st August 2022. He is State Secretary at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy for 50 percent and the Office of the Prime Minister for 50 percent from 1st July 2023.
He has priviously worked as an advisor at The Norwegian Energy Regulatory Authority (2017-2020) and as a political advisor to The Standing Committee on Business and Industry for the Labour Party parliamentary group from 2020 before being appointed to State Secretary for Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre at the Prime Minister's Office on 14th October 2021. She leads Sustainability for Europe and Kearney's Net Zero platform worldwide. In this capacity she advises clients how to make the energy transition a reality, with hydrogen being one of the pivotal technologies.
She builds on >20 years in the energy sector, with a mix of consulting, industry and government experience. She has worked at McKinsey, Vattenfall, and the Dutch Office for Energy Regulation.
Her experience centers on the utility sector and its industrial customers; renewable build-out, resilient power systems, hydrogen and industrial decarbonisation. Maria holds an M.Sc. in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology, and an MBA from Oxford University.
Stephen Jackson is Deputy CEO and Chief Technology & Market Officer at HydrogenEurope.
He has a wealth of experience in public affairs and strategic communications, including stints at Weber Shandwick (Vice President), FTIConsulting (Senior Director), and the European Commission.
He also sits in the Board of Directors of the African Hydrogen Partnership as well as the Clean Hydrogen Partnership. His focus throughout his career has most often been on climate, sustainability and energy policy but he also boasts valuable knowledge in research & development, transport, technology, health and security issues.
Paro Konar has spent most of her career in the UK civil service working on Energy Policy.
An analyst by background, Paro has worked on electricity and gas markets, leading analytical teams to develop the evidence base for the Electricity Market Reform, Capacity Market, Low Carbon Auctions as well as developing the evidence base for large infrastructure policies such as new nuclear investment in the UK, and received an OBE in recognition for her contribution to energy analysis. Before joining Industrial Energy, Paro worked on EU Exit Negotiations.

Arvid Moss, Excecutive Vice President for the Hydro Energy business area, is a seasoned leader who has held various senior management positions in the aluminium industry.

Moss brings extensive knowledge of energy and sustainability to the conference, having been member of the Corporate Management Board in Hydro since August 2008, and headed Hydro Energy since 2010.
Joar Dalheim brings both deep and wide technical experience as the head of the Vysus Group Technology Board.
He has experience across several market areas including oil&gas, nuclear, energy and renewables. In addition to being familiar with general technology challenges and opportunities, Joar's technical expertise lies within risk analyses and advanced numerical modelling, both CFD and FEA.
He has initiated and managed several development projects (including joint industry projects) in the offshore domain, resulting in improved services to the industry and global standards and recommended practices. Prakash Patel is a Chartered Chemical Engineer who has spent two decade in the industrial gases industry, specializing in safely supplying hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, steam and clean dry air to end users.
Currently, Prakash is a Global Hydrogen Risk Engineer Lead at Marsh Energy. He is an active member of the Energy Institute's Hydrogen and CCUS Safety Committees and chairs the working group revising the Energy Institutes guidelines for CCUS plant design, operations, and hazard analysis.
His extensive knowledge and experience in industrial gases and risk management will contribute to promoting the safe and efficient adoption of emerging technologies in the energy sector.
Nicole Dopffel is an expert in subsurface microbiology and worked for many years on the microbial influence on hydrogen and energy systems.
She holds a PhD in geomicrobiology and is working as senior scientist at the research institute NORCE Norwegian Research Center in Bergen. She is leading WP2 on storage and transport in the FME Center HyValue and is co-leading the subtask A in the International Energy Agency hydrogen TCP 42 for H2 Underground Storage.
Eystein Leren is market development responsible for renewable and low carbon ammonia to energy and industry in Europe for Yara Clean Ammonia.
He has more than 25 years of industry experience, possessing various positions in the cross-roads between technology and commerce, most of the time in Norsk Hydro and later Yara, where he for the last six years have been working with decarbonization of ammonia and emerging markets for clean ammonia and hydrogen.
Hege Økland is the Managing Director for Hy2gen Norge AS and is co-managing Iverson E-fuels AS which will establish a large-scale production of green ammonia in Sauda, Norway.

Frida is also a board member of the Norwegian Hydrogen Forum. She has over 17 years’ of experience from the energy industry. Previous positions in Equinor include Vice president for logistics and emergency response, Manager for the offshore support vessel fleet and Process owner for global Supply chain management.
Before joining Equinor, she worked with start-ups in the IT-sector in Sweden and UK. She holds a Master of Science in Business from the Norwegian BI Business School, and a Bachelor in Business Management from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
